Drama is an excellent medium for developing confidence and self-esteem. It allows people to explore and experience a range of feelings and emotions within a safe and secure environment. Research has shown that it helps develop moral, social and spiritual awareness. It can also give a sense of achievement and ownership.

Through my work I hope to foster a sense of independence and self-confidence even in the most shy of children or adults, Drama gives people the opportunity to express themselves, a skill they may find difficult in other situations. Drama has a key place in development and unfortunately the opportunities for people to experience it can be limited. It allows issues to be raised and experiences to be had, which might not be otherwise available.

Everyone can achieve in drama-whatever their, talent, experience, skills or confidence.
